Sandborn Seals: Innovative and Proven!
Every Sandborn Seal Assembly is custom-designed to meet the unique operating conditions of each individual tank. Our shoe seal plates are minimum 304 series stainless steel, with all components designed to meet diverse annular spaces and floating roof rim details. Our secondary compression plate seals are unique, and offer an industry exclusive ‘anti-rollover’ design like no other seal available.
Optional seal fabrics and secondary seal tips make a Sandborn Seal the preferred seal assembly with many prominent tank operators. Foam dam options are readily available, and designed to comply with the most stringent standards and operating conditions. We also offer a patented ‘deck positioner’ to ensure proper seal contact with the tank shell is always maintained.

Each Sandborn Seal Assembly is fully tested prior to shipment to site to ensure a properly functioning seal throughout the entire operating parameters of the tank. Each seal component is verified to ensure smooth operations, with closing forces recorded and provided for each seal assembly.
